A little bit about myself
I've been interested in photography for over 40 years, although I'll admit there was quite a break at one point and I've only really been anything like serious for the last 7 years.

I started of course with film cameras, in my case and Ensign Selfix 120 which I inherited form my late father. I was fortunate that the school attended had a darkroom and a keen teacher, from whom I learnt the rudiments of developing and printing black and white.

I progressed to a 35mm SLR, before giving it all up in my twenties. Several years later I came back to photography, initially using a digital point and shoot, before moving to DSLRs. More recently my interest have moved back to film, and I've now got a collection of film cameras, including a Zorki 4K rangefinder, a Mamiya 645 SLR, and my recent acquisition of a Iston 5x4 view camera.

I firmly believe that the end product of photography should be a print, and to that end I've recently set up a darkroom. I also print digital images, and whilst I really enjoy my film work, I also appreciate the advantages of digital.

I hope you enjoy looking at my work. If you would like any more information, or to purchase any prints, pleas email me using the contact page.
